it is truly unbelievable how delicious a peonie is! especially when falling asleep in a ball jar.
fire cookin',e we are inside preparing swordfish and oodles of vegetables for our salute to summer meal
which was duly washed down with cold beer and a game of "mexican train dominoes"
and of course lola dressed for the occasion by rolling herself in a stinky pile of fresh horse poo
and the last of the dandelions stand proud as soldiers for the setting sun
My apologies, for failing to "blog" like a blog loving soul, I have evidently been more occupied with farm living. I have been "tractoring" grass and irrigating the fields, taking the ponies for long walks down the dirt road, trying in earnest to earn a shiny penny, rescuing llamas and scheming for reasons to revive my career as a visual artist. Which in good time will appear here with "dazzling" images of the junk art I cannot resist to make from time to time.
I must say though, that life here on the Colorado plains is sweet! Sweet as a purple peonie!
And my heart is feeling full with horsey's and puppy dogs and blueprints of sailboats, and old trucks and the handiness of a good wheelbarrow. And the excitement of my friends Khandro and Lawrence who will be catching a baby boy any minute!
Cheers to a glorious Colorado Spring!
