how we have missed the sun and sky

our one outing in the rain.  we found a beautiful dead-end road to walk down.
perhaps everyone is sleepy in the dreary weather
The sun is SHINING today!
the spring rains and impending 3 feet of snow have gone and passed
and although the moisture is most needed i can't help but be one of those
folks who is dependent on the colorado sunshine to warm up their heart.
all last week i was in the bed, on my way to bed or wishing that's what i was doing.
i was sick with my two-months old food poisoning from my favorite vietnamese restaurant
(sad, sad) with my inflamed Heyerdahl hernia (that i learned from the naturopath how to pull down below my diaphragm (where it should be) by pressing into my chest with my fingertips and guiding my angry stomach down as i exhale, very cool) and to top it off i fell sick with a change of season cold that has my wee little nose red and chapped like a blushing gnomes.
but i am in good cheer today, as long as i have a hanker-chief close by.  hanker-chief?  where
on earth did that name come from.  and in a short while i will load up "pony boy" my
faithful new pickup that might be running solely on faith and drive up north for a visit with
SPARROW.
I will be sure to take the camera and take lots of pictures and videos.
this will be my first outing since i came home from work on thursday,
i am brimming with joy, and a little bit of mischief for my sunday excursion.
i am in need of an adventure .
i hope EVERYONE has a glorious sunny happy day!
